Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) allows crime victims across the country to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day–over the telephone, by Internet, or by email. Victims can call 1 (877) 329-7894 to inquire about the current status of an inmate and can register to be notified immediately upon change in the inmate’s status, such as release, escape or court appearance.
